## Key decisions locked this session

1. **3-color Pirates print sequence verified from mesh inspection.** Pause 1 at print z=10.0mm (raw z=3.0), Pause 2 at print z=12.0mm (raw z=5.0). Color order: WHITE → BLACK → GOLD.
2. **Phillies pause corrected.** Original z=9.4mm was 0.6mm below the geometric color transition. Moved to z=10.2mm (one-layer safety margin above z=10.0 transition).
3. **Filament order placed:** 1× Sunlu PLA+ White (2nd spool, 456g shortage at default scale), 1× eSUN PLA+ Yellow (closest measured match to PMS 123, ΔE ~22), 1× Sunlu PLA+ Pure Yellow (brand-match hedge), 1× Sunlu PLA+ Cherry Red.
4. **All filaments stay in PLA+ family** for thermal compatibility — single 220°C nozzle profile across entire print, no per-filament temperature complications.
5. **Default file scale used** — both source 3MFs printed successfully at default scale on Sam's A1 in prior testing. Pirates ~6" diameter, Phillies ~6.85" diameter.
6. **AMS Lite confirmed deferred** for next multi-color project.

## Open items requiring follow-up before print starts

- Re-slice both fixed 3MFs in Bambu Studio after filament arrives (Tue/Wed May 5/6)
- Verify pause locations land at the correct visual transitions in slice preview
- Capture actual sliced weights/times for Phillies (not currently in file metadata)
- Decide between eSUN and Sunlu yellows after side-by-side color comparison vs Pirates reference
- Add brim (5mm mouse-ear) before final slice for corner-lift insurance
