## Why this file exists

The "Hubbard Lake deck" was referenced in `bk-P2-PAINT-LESSONS-LEARNED` as the next Aceves work after the paint close-out ("write paint lessons BEFORE Hubbard Lake deck starts"). The 2026-05-28 state survey flagged it as having zero substrate coverage. Also referenced in Sam-and-planning-chat as a "dock ask" — terminology may be deck OR dock; **stub uses "dock" per Sam's most recent framing** but the structural fix should clarify.

- "Hubbard Lake **dock**" — Sam's 2026-05-29 resume-prompt framing (suggests waterfront dock work — installation, repair, refinishing)

These are different jobs (a deck is a structure attached to the house; a dock is on the water). Sam: confirm which one is the actual ask, or whether both are in scope.
