Bang4buck 12V pressure-washer pump -> HLPB folding fish-cleaning-table sink · do it PROPER (no more duct tape)
Goal
Last year the Bang4buck 12V pressure-washer pump was connected to the HLPB folding fish-cleaning table's sink faucet with duct tape. It worked, but Sam wants a proper, reliable connection this year.
The fittings problem + the fix
Sink inlet: standard 3/4" GHT (garden-hose thread) — the easy, standard end.
Pump outlet:proprietary — won't screw onto a standard fitting directly.
Solution: keep the pump's OWN outlet hose — cut it to length, then clamp a barb-to-3/4"-male-GHT adapter onto the cut end. The GHT male end then screws straight into the sink's 3/4" GHT inlet. Standard, sealed, removable — no tape.
Parts
Part
Spec / note
Barb-to-3/4" male GHT adapter
Barb size = the pump hose's INNER diameter (ID). Likely 3/8" or 5/16" — MEASURE first. Brass or nylon.
Stainless hose clamps x2
One on the barb-to-hose joint (sized to the hose OD); a spare. Stainless = marine/wet-safe.
Inline pressure reducer (optional)
The pump is ~160 PSI; a faucet wants ~40-60 PSI. An inline reducer/regulator protects the sink valve + softens the flow. Optional but recommended.
Measure before buying: the barb must match the pump outlet hose's ID or it won't seal / won't fit. Cut a clean end, measure the inside diameter, then buy the matching barb-to-3/4-GHT adapter.
SAM-FILL: pump outlet hose inner diameter (ID) — measure the cut end (likely 3/8" or 5/16"). Then CC can confirm the exact adapter part + (optional) the right inline pressure reducer.
