## Pirates v3.2 — APPROVED to print

Print chat delivered with the same fix pattern as Phillies v3.1 (which printed perfectly first time). Verified verdict: **start your first v3.2 print as proof-of-concept**, then queue the rest.

**Key improvements:**
- Pause 1: z=10.0 → z=10.2 (fires AFTER layer 50, no more off-by-one)
- Pause 2: z=12.0 → z=12.2 (same fix for layer 60)
- Print time: ~143 min → ~129 min per piece (saves ~14 min each)
- Weight: ~93g → ~84g per piece (saves ~9g each)
- Across 8 pieces: ~115 min and ~73g saved

**Discipline rule:** Print ONE Pirates first as proof of concept. If clean, queue the rest. If problems, stop and message me.

**Bed plate care:** Wash with soap and warm water after ~5 prints, or immediately if first layer adhesion looks off. Probably one wash mid-queue today. No IPA for daily cleaning.

## Today's flow (10:15 AM forward)

### Now → 10:30 AM
- Open Pirates v3.2 in Bambu Studio
- Let it re-slice
- Visual confirmation: pause markers at layers 51 and 61
- Load white PLA
- Click print
- Pack paint + spatter cleanup kit

### Print start +0 → +85 min (~10:30 AM-12:00 PM)
- Walk to Jon and Abbey's
- Vacuum + walk-through (10-15 min — what Jon mentioned: outside wall lighter check, photo it)
- Start first paint task: fan medallion black OR start ceiling cut-in
- Be back home by 11:50 AM to be safe for pause 1

### Pause window at home (~12:00-12:20 PM)
- Pause 1 swap (white→black) — ~5 min
- Wait ~13 min for layer 60 to complete
- Pause 2 swap (black→gold) — ~5 min
- Stay home, this 30 min is the irreducible babysitting window

### +120 min print done (~12:30 PM)
- First v3.2 proof complete
- INSPECT carefully — layer boundaries clean?
- If clean: start second print, queue continues
- If problems: stop, message me, debug

### Second print run (~12:30-2:40 PM)
- Same pattern
- More work at Jon's during the 85 min before pause 1
- Lunch sometime in here

### Third print attempt if time/energy (~3:00-4:15 PM)
- Optional — depends on how Jon's work is going

### 4:20 PM — Win pickup
- Stop all work
- Phone alarm at 4:10 PM
- Get Win from school

### 6:00-7:00 PM — CeCe conversation
**Topics:**
1. **Dog vet records** — current for boarding? (rabies, bordetella, distemper typical requirements)
2. **Wedding outfit** — what's needed (rent, buy, own), when
3. **Wedding logistics** — date, time, location, transport
4. **Boarding details** — Megan vs Club Pet, drop-off and pickup times

### 7:00-8:00 PM — Planning chat check-in
- Trial day debrief
- Build SS-Q010 quote for Jon's paint work in manage app
- Tomorrow's plan (includes Peter Scott appointment)
- Apply Jonathon name correction in manage app

### 9:00 PM — Sleep
- 10-hour target. You're owed it after last night's 3 hours.

## Paint roller spatter — cleanup methods

### Treadmill (painted metal + plastic)

**Escalation order:**

1. **Warm soapy water + plastic scraper** (5-10 min soak, plastic putty knife or expired credit card)
2. **70% rubbing alcohol** on cotton ball if water fails (TEST hidden spot first)
3. **Goof Off** last resort (TEST first, NOT on ABS plastic)

**NEVER on treadmill:** Acetone, lacquer thinner, razor blades, mineral spirits on plastic

### Wood chest

**Escalation order:**

1. **Warm soapy water + soft cloth** (5-10 min soak)
2. **Hot vinegar or rubbing alcohol** if water fails (TEST first)
3. **Plastic scraper** (expired credit card) — NEVER metal
4. **Goof Off** last resort (TEST first)

**NEVER on wood:** Acetone, sandpaper, razor blades, paint stripper

**Kit to pack:**
- 4-6 microfiber cloths
- Plastic putty knife or expired credit cards
- Spray bottle with warm water + drop of dish soap
- 70% rubbing alcohol (small bottle)
- Goof Off (just in case)
- Cotton swabs for tight spots

**If anything looks risky:** Stop, leave a note, come back with different supplies. Better than damage.

## "Lighter wall" — diagnose only today

Jon mentioned outside wall looks slightly lighter. **Today: document, don't fix.**

1. Photo in sunlight + photo in shade
2. Close-up texture photo
3. Find Jon's leftover paint can (brand, color code, sheen)
4. Ask if there were prior touch-ups (different batch?)
5. Note for Tuesday: feather in with leftover or need new can?
